The Red Bull Studio welcomes The Frisk to play the Live Session on Thursday Feb 11, so tune into the bNets at 330pm and check them out!
The Frisk formed in 2005 to play The Smokefree Rock Quest, and like many kiwi boys they 'simply' wanted to be the next Metallica. Moving on from there “bogan” roots, The Frisk’s music has evolved into a mature indie sound.The creative streak that drives them gets stronger with every song written. Some high calibre musical heroes lurk in the background of their tempting tunes, from the groundbreaking Radiohead, Sigur Ros & Phoenix, to the catchy wizardry of Kings of Leon, Bloc Party and The Strokes. Put all this together and you get melodic, punchy, toe-tapping, high energy songs – which make their presence felt in a lively stage show. For the future The Frisk would like to see there music captivating audiences as they sell albums and tour the world!
