We like Kerry to talk about these things, we like him to talk about them in our studio.
Kerry thought it about time he actually sorted out a way of assembling a group of like minded people to talk about common interests. The production, and playing of electronic music in its various forms.
It’s a chance for Producers to get together, have a few drinks, and talk about what we do. This time, he is getting the Antiform boys in for a proper talk – we will be discussing how their live show works, and I am sure there will be a few other bits thrown in.
After that, Kerry is organising a bit of a geek fest – a comparison of the conversion on several of the popular Digital DJ systems out there. He will be feeding the same track through several different boxes, and then lining them all up in a DAW to have a good A/B comparison. We are not comparing features, or pricing, just a simple comparison of the audio output of the boxes.
It’s all going to be filmed and put up on this website for those we can’t fit in, for those of you who can make sure you comb your hair.
Over the next few months he plans on doing monitor shootouts, some microphone comparisons, and much more, but let’s get it off to a good start with next Tuesday.
